Comparative molecular analysis of the  selected cancers in human and dogs

The workshop will include a theoretical as well as a hands-on part. The main presented concept will be the usefulness of comparative analysis of the same human and animal tumours.  Namely, comparative pathology of the same tumours, but in different species, especially humans and dogs, will reveal new data and possible hot spots for further investigations. Lectures will encompass the comparative analysis of hepatocellular carcinomas, mammary tumours, melanomas, etc. In addition, lectures will include molecular tumor pathology, in situ hybridisation and immunohistochemistry.   Hands-on training will include immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridisation and gene sequencing.
