Intellectual property management in support of innovation

   

    The obtention of knowledge and competence required for preservation of intellectual property* is an important concept regarding research and innovation. The participants in this workshop will get to know the possibilities of intellectual property disposal on the fields of research, education and innovation with special emphasis on research and development projects. Simulation of commercial exploitation of created knowledge will serve as a basis for the analysis of commercial potential. Feasibility of founding spin-off companies or other means of usage of promising technologies will be analyzed.  The workshop will cover intellectual property management in support of innovation and technology transfer, technology transfer strategies by the establishment of collaborations with external partners and managing of intellectual property in research and development from idea generation to exploitation of results in EU research and development projects.
