Biomarkers in veterinary medicine


    Biomarkers are of great interest in veterinary medicine. Today, researchers can access biomarkers by numerous omics techniques. A lot of articles describe biomarkers for animal production, health, disease as well as welfare at molecular level (DNA, RNA, protein). One of the challenges associated with biomarkers is to translate them into clinical use, such as clinical tests. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers from the field of biomarker identification and application, with emphasis on the advancement of biomarker research in veterinary medicine. The workshop will also allow researchers to share knowledge and experience in this domain, and will give the opportunity to establish network and consolidate experience.
